Modi Govt's festival gift to farmers

In a big relief to farmers in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government today approved a new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana.

The Cabinet has approved the proposal of a new crop insurance scheme that aims to reduce the premium burden on farmers and ensure early settlement of claim for the full sum insured. The new crop insurance scheme that incorporates highly favourable features for farmers will replace the existing all existing Agricultural Insurance Schemes. The New crop insurance Scheme incorporates highly favourable features for farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi terms the New Scheme as historic and pioneering. BJP President Amit Shah welcomed the new crop insurance scheme aimed at the welfare of farmers.
