Remembering Hasrat Jaipuri on his birthday
Noted Urdu and Hindi poet and film lyricist, Hasrat Jaipuri, was born on 15th April, 1922 in Jaipur. 

He was awarded the best lyricist award by FilmFare in 1966 & 1972. 

Jaipuri has written several books of poetry, in Hindi and Urdu.
