Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, Punjab government today transferred 31 officers, including 14 senior level IAS officers and four IPS officers, with immediate effect.
Anurag Aggarwal, Financial Commissioner, Taxation has been posted as Principal Secretary, Social Security and Development of Women and Children.
An official spokesperson said that D P Reddy, Principal Secretary, Finance has been given the additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Taxation.
Dr G Vijralingam Principal Secretary, Science, Technology and Environment has been posted as Principal Secretary, School Education whereas Dr Roshan Sunkaria, Financial Commissioner, Rural Development and Panchayats has been transferred as Principal Secretary, Labour.
Besides, Anurag Aggarwal, Financial Commissioner, Taxation has been posted as Principal Secretary, Social Security and Development of Women and Children while Jaspal Singh, Secretary, Finance (Expenditure), has been given additional charge of Secretary, Science Technology and Environment.
Anurag Verma, Commissioner, Excise and Taxation has been posted as Secretary, Higher Education and Ajoy Sharma, Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister has been given additional charge of Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation.
Ajit Singh Pannu, Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala has been given additional charge of Gurdwara elections and Supreet Gulati, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), Ludhiana has been posted as Additional Secretary, Finance and Director, Treasuries.
Kumar Amit, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), Jalandhar has been posted as Joint Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Punjab and Deeparwa Lakra, Special Secretary, Home goes as Director, Welfare of SCs and BCs.
While Shruti Singh, Special Secretary, Finance and Director, Treasuries becomes Special Secretary, Home, Deepinder Singh, Secretary, Mandi Board has been given additional charge of Secretary Panchayats.
Harish Nayyar becomes Joint Secretary, Personnel, the spokesperson added.
Meanwhile, the state government also shifted four IPS and 13 Punjab Police Services (PPS) officers in the state, the the official said.
Amneet Kondal has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Traffic, Jalandhar, Dhruv Dahiya as ADCP Head Quarters and Security Ludhiana, Gulneet Singh Khurana as SP Headquarters, Pathankot and Sandeep Kumar Garg has been posted as Headquarters, Ropar.
Besides, 13 PPS officers too were shifted, the spokesman added.
